June Highlights 2010

This past spring (2010) was a whirlwind of conferences and keynotes as I traveled back and forth across the USA several times.  Early summer finished up with my speaking at a social media conference at Columbia University Business’s School just 3 days prior to moving to Florida!

Tampa Ho!

The big move happened as we moved part and parcel to Tampa. Only 1200 miles… much more than I bargained for; however, we have been successful with a lot of help from our family and friends.

August 2010

Fast forward 2 months and I was flying back to Pittsburgh to help launch the new school year with Westmoreland Community College.

What a wonderful faculty keynote as we did an extended 2 hr session on a humid August Monday morning! It was fabulous to share the positive energy of these faculty and to introduce the Journey of Transformation and faculty development in using technology. Great feedback and participation. Learning can be fun even as you are thinking about everything else you ave to do! Thank you for your attentiveness folks, I know your schedule was packed.

October 2010

Classes start here in Tampa just next week (Aug 24) and that will be a whirlwind, but then in October I am very thrilled to be headed right across the bridge to Clearwater and the AAACE conference. October 24-29, 2010 are the dates.

I am schedule to do one invited and two refereed presentations at this international conference. We have many surprises in store including a special technology launch and book signings of several new books in adult education and HRD!

January 2011

Then it is off to Austin Texas, the hub of country music, for the TSEA conference. I am pleased to be providing an invited presentation to this  group of conference planners and education association leaders. The topic? Transformative learning and you know we will have a great time talking about the practical and insightful application of this research for every adult who experiences change.

February 2011

Word just in that I will be a featured speaker at the FETC conference here in Orlando this year. FETC is always a top notch experience of enthusiastic educators and cutting edge classroom innovation. This time I won’t even need to take a plane to get MY STATE’s conference!
