NUIG and the Emerald Isle

NUIG and the Emerald Isle

National University of Ireland at Galway invited Dr. King for a special event  in December 2016

As an international expert in transformative learning, Dr. King was asked to lead a dissertation viva  (final oral defense).

The dissertation utilized her Learning Activities Survey to examine the learning experiences  of adult students from Kosovo who studied in the UK, and then returned home to seek employment.

The NUIG viva was an enriching collaboration among NUIG scholars and Dr King.  I also emjoyed spending some of my winter holiday in Ireland.
